Harvest Hall, a project operated by Apas Port Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; Representative Director: Daisuke Sasaki), is pleased to announce the release of ASMR Animation ft. Emoji Girl by animation creator Kaniza. The collection marks the third installment of the “ON” CHAIN ART series and will be available through the NFT marketplace OpenSea.

ASMR Animation ft. Emoji Girl is a collection of six hand-drawn ASMR animations, each meticulously illustrated frame by frame by Kaniza.

 

From the simple gesture of applying lipstick before heading out, to milk gently blending into tea, to the brief flicker of a Zippo lighter being ignited and extinguished, the collection captures beautiful yet easily overlooked moments of everyday life.

 

Kaniza also personally recorded and produced some of the accompanying ASMR sounds, creating an immersive experience that combines visual and auditory storytelling.

Throughout the collection, Emoji Girl, the character introduced in the first installment of “ON” CHAIN ART, makes subtle appearances, connecting the individual works through a shared creative universe.

 

The Six Animations
●GRWM: A scene depicting the application of lipstick before heading out. The animation captures the soft texture of the lips as they gently change shape with each movement of the lipstick.

●Afternoon Tea: A scene of milk being poured into tea, focusing on the intricate and beautiful transformation that occurs as the two liquids blend together.

●Got A Light?: A scene featuring the ignition of a Zippo lighter, highlighting the fleeting beauty of sparks that burst into life for just a moment.

●OMW: A close-up of a woman’s feet walking in high heels, featuring striking reflections on a polished marble floor.

●Love Potion: A scene of liquid being poured into a heart-shaped beaker, capturing the movement and expansion of bubbles created by a chemical reaction.

●1-800-Kaniza: A scene set at a payphone somewhere in outer space, with particular attention to the delicate movements of an alien girl’s fingers as she presses the buttons.

 

Emoji Girl is an original animation series by Kaniza, inspired by the idea: “What if girls were turned into emojis?”

Released in August 2024 as the first installment of “ON” CHAIN ART, it marked Kaniza’s first commercially available artwork collection.

Over its two-week release period, the collection recorded 3,574 mints, attracting collectors from more than 20 countries.

Proceeds from the collection have been used to support the production of Kaniza’s original short animated films. Revenue from ASMR Animation ft. Emoji Girl will likewise contribute to supporting these creative projects.

Kaniza is an animation creator with over 480,000 followers on Instagram.

Drawing inspiration from traditional animation techniques, including hand-painted cels from Japan’s Showa era, Kaniza has developed a distinctive hand-drawn animation style.

Every frame is individually drawn on an iPad. Through intentionally imperfect linework and flat coloring techniques, Kaniza recreates the warmth and texture of traditional cel animation while working entirely in a digital environment.
