About Us

Apas Port was established in April of 2023 through a DAO (decentralized autonomous organization). We run our business with the mission of deploying ”KANDO” to the world.

    CEO of Apas Port. After working as a content producer for metropolitan fashion events, handling floor concepts at Hankyu Hakata and product events for G-Shock, Daisuke Sasaki felt the potential of NFTs as a new form of expression in art and fashion culture due to their global influence. This led to the launch of the NFT project MAGO Mint with artist Mago Nagasaka. In April 2023, he established a Web3 creative production company, Apas Port, with members from a DAO.

    Haruka Oakes is one of the co-founders at Apas Port, overseeing the company's operations, business development, and marketing. After graduating from Waseda University, she has worked on major digital marketing campaigns for well-recognized companies in Japan, including the Olympics. She entered the NFT market with an interest in finding solutions for using blockchain to provide opportunities for others. She is currently in charge of KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO's global outreach and strategic planning for their Web3 project, KAMITSUBAKI VERSE. With her thoughtful approach to providing solutions, she is actively involved in expanding IP awareness both in Japan and globally, with several top-tier projects including San FranTokyo and Animoca Brands Japan.

    Maria Sahara is the chief editor of Harvest Hall and Apas Port's Director. She attended an international school in Japan from the age of three until high school. She was part of the first cohort of the PEARL program in the Economics Department at Keio University. After graduating, Sahara started Web3 activities as a freelance moderator and community manager for projects like SuperNormal and experienced digital nomadism for about a year. Upon returning to Japan, she joined Apas Port. She currently leverages her background and experience in translation, project management, and company project planning.

    Harvest Hallの編集長とApas Portのディレクター。3歳から高校卒業までの15年間国内のインターナショナルスクールに在学。慶應義塾大学経済学部PEARL第一期生。大学卒業後、フリーランスのモデレーター・コミュニティマネージャーとしてSuperNormalなどのプロジェクトでWeb3活動を開始し、様々なプロジェクトに携わりながらデジタルノマドを1年ほど経験。帰国後、創業メンバーとしてApas Portに携わる。現在は、そのバックグラウンドや経験を活かして、翻訳、プロジェクトマネジメント、自社プロジェクトの企画などを行う。

    Josephine Nguyen

    Josephine Nguyen is a creative producer specializing in design and user experiences. She has led projects and designed for a diverse list of Australian clients across industries including banking, farming, solar distribution, entertainment, and transportation. In 2020, she deepened her understanding of human behavior by completing Yale’s “Science of Wellbeing” online course. Her personal work embodies themes of connectedness and conservation, expressed through 3D models and illustration. Now at Apas Port, she focuses on designing experiences that make Web3 more accessible. As the Creative Director for Harvest Hall, she curates materials that educate and showcase the blend of decentralized web ideas into everyday life.

    デザインとユーザー体験を専門とするクリエイティブプロデューサー。銀行、農業、太陽光発電、エンターテインメント、交通など、多岐にわたる業界のオーストラリアのクライアント向けにプロジェクトを指揮し、デザインを手掛ける。2020年には、イェール大学の「Science of Wellbeing」オンラインコースを修了し、人間行動の理解を深め。自身の作品は、つながりと保存をテーマにしており、3Dモデルやイラストレーションを通じて表現。現在、Apas PortではWeb3をより身近にするための体験設計に注力しており、Harvest Hallのクリエイティブディレクターとして、分散型のカルチャーを日常生活に取り入れる素材をキュレーションしている。

    In 2021, Mugi started working as an illustrator on social media, amassing 30,000 followers on Twitter and over 70,000 on Instagram. Interested in NFTs for their claimable ownership of digital illustrations, he explored Web3, communities, and cryptocurrencies. Since then, Mugi has also created NFT-related illustrations. After graduating from university, he started working as an illustrator at Apas Port and handling multiple projects, including key visuals for the global project "San FranTokyo."

    2021年、SNSにてイラストレーターとして活動を開始し、Twitterフォロワー数を3万人、Instagramは7万人を超え。デジタルイラストの所有を主張できる点からNFTに興味を持ち、web3やコミュニティ、仮想通貨に触れる。以降、NFT関連のイラストも作成する。大学卒業後、Apas Portでイラストレーターを務めるその後、グローバルプロジェクトの「San FranTokyo」のキービュアルを担当。

    Lena Suda Grace

    After graduating from Waseda University, Lena Grace Suda began her career as a freelance Japanese to English interpreter, translator, and writer. In 2019, she was the interpreter for Queer Eye: We’re in Japan! and has continued working as an on-set interpreter for commercial shoots and the like. Suda mainly translates articles and content within the fashion, music, and entertainment fields; she has translated for media outlets such as GQ Japan, NYLON JAPAN, The Fashion Post, TOKION, and so forth. As a writer/interviewer, Suda has written for magazines like IWAKAN and Synchron Magazine. As such, it could be said that her forte is interviewing people. Furthermore, she sings, thus expanding her arsenal.

    早稲田大学国際教養学部卒業。東京を拠点とする日英翻訳者・通訳者・ライター（フリーランス）。2019年に『クィア・アイ in Japan!』の通訳者を務め、以降もCM制作など撮影現場にて通訳の仕事も続けている。GQ Japan, NYLON JAPAN、The Fashion Post、TOKIONなどといった媒体の翻訳をした経験があり、主にファッション、音楽、エンターテインメントなどの分野を扱っている。ライター・インタビュアーとしてはIWAKANとSynchron Magazineといった雑誌に記事を提供し、インタビューを強みとしている。また、歌も得意としており、活動範囲をさらに広げつつある。

    Graduated from Baelish University, Faculty of Arts and Technology
    Worked as a creative director, launching fashion brands and restaurants. Discovered NFTs through Tom Sachs' Rocket Factory. While collecting art, he gained experience in managing and marketing large-scale NFT projects from the US, Hong Kong, and South Korea. He founded SPAM DAO, an alpha community of top-tier NFT collectors in Japan. At Apas Port, he is mainly responsible for creative direction and brand management.

    Takumi Yamashita is in charge of developing the technical architecture of Harvest Hall. He has competed twice in the world finals of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest and, after developing blockchain technology as an MITOU Super Creator, led the development of Plasm (now Astar Network) as the CTO of Staked. Yamashita later supported multiple blockchain projects. He serves as an advisor, utilizing his extensive knowledge and experience from software design of blockchain systems to research and development in the specific token economics of crypto asset systems.

    ACM国際大学対抗プログラミングコンテストにて世界大会に二度出場し、未踏スーパークリエータとしてブロックチェーン開発を経て、Staked社CTOとしてPlasm(現Astar Network)開発をリード。 その後、複数のブロックチェーンプロジェクトをサポート。ブロックチェーンシステムのソフトウェア設計から、暗号資産システム特有のトークンエコノミクスの研究開発まで幅広い知識と経験を活かしたアドバイザーをしている。

    During the dawn of the internet, Kanetō Kanemoto launched the world's first Q&A community platform for mutual assistance and turned it into a business. After the company went public, he stepped down from management and, with a track record of creating a user-generated content (UGC) foundation with 100 million annual unique users, he now contributes to the growth of emerging companies. He is currently involved in designing risk management strategies and supporting Product-Market Fit (PMF) during this positive transformation period, where the internet is being redefined by new blockchain technology.

    After being seconded to the Corporate Disclosure Division of the Financial Services Agency, Takeshi Nagase spent two years at the legal department of a major domestic securities firm. While at the Financial Services Agency, he focused on revising disclosure regulations and formulating the Stewardship Code. He advised on various finance, Fintech, and corporate cases at the securities firm. Leveraging his experience from these secondments, he specializes in providing practical financial advice that considers regulatory perspectives. Since returning to his firm, he has primarily handled Fintech cases involving cryptocurrency exchange businesses, digital securities, and electronic money payments, offering advice to financial institutions both domestically and internationally.

    ⾦融庁総務企画局企業開⽰課に出向した後、国内⼤⼿証券会社法務部に２年間出向。⾦融庁出向は主に開⽰規制に関する法令・ガイドラインの改正、スチュワードシップコードの策定等に携わり、証会社出向中は各種ファイナンス案件、Fintech案件、コーポレート案件へのアドバイスに従事。金融庁・証券会社への出向経験を活かし、規制当局の考え⽅を踏まえつつ、⾦融実務に即したアドバイス提供することを得意とする。当事務所復帰後は、暗号資産交換業・デジタル証券、電子マネー決済等のFintech案件を中⼼に取り扱うとともに、国内外の⾦融機関に対するアドバイスを提供している。

    Haruo Narimoto has a rich background in finance, especially in real estate-related funds and securitization. Recently, he has been active in Fintech and PropTech, particularly with investment crowdfunding and security tokens. He operates in both Tokyo and Singapore, supporting Web3-related clients and projects involving NFTs, token finance, X to Earn, and DAOs. He specializes in the RWA token field, working on notable projects like NOT A HOTEL's accommodation membership NFTs, Progmat's sake tokens, and Unikura's collectible item NFTs. Among his publications is "On Asset Tokens," co-authored for a 2021 special legal issue on crypto assets. He graduated from Waseda University in 1998, joined the Tokyo Bar Association in 2000, and has been recognized by IFLR 1000 and Chambers Asia in his field. In 2022, he was named "Lawyer of the Year" for Real Estate Law in Tokyo by Best Lawyers in Japan.

    Microglia is a Web3 advisor that specializes in community building and go-to-market strategy. He joined the space in the fall of 2021 and has since worked on 25+ NFT projects, including pre-launch for HAPEBEAST and Azuki. Before working briefly in the venture space, he led community building and go-to-market strategy for Art Gobblers with Paradigm. More recently, he has been working with Asterix Labs, Duper, Sofamon, and Apas Port. Outside of Web3, microglia is a neurosciences PhD student at Stanford and enjoys long discussions about everything related to the brain.
