Harvest Hall, operated by Apas Port Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; Representative Director: Daisuke Sasaki), hosted an invitation-only unveiling event on June 5, 2026, at artist Mago Nagasaka’s studio, showcasing all 30 physical artworks from the Milly and Friends collection.

In addition to the exclusive unveiling of the Milly and Friends Special E-Waste Artworks, guests enjoyed a one-night-only experience exploring the inspiration and stories behind the collection through a talk show. Attendees were also treated to a personal gallery tour led by Nagasaka himself, followed by an impromptu live drawing session, creating a unique atmosphere that could only be experienced at the artist’s studio.

Previously available exclusively to holders of the “ON” CHAIN ART NFT collection, these physical artworks are now available for purchase by the general public.

The event featured an approximately four-hour program, including artwork exhibitions, a talk show, networking opportunities, and a live drawing session.

Inspired by the sold-out Milly and Friends collection of 2,000 NFTs, these physical pieces are mixed-media canvas artworks individually enhanced by Mago Nagasaka himself.

Each artwork features additional hand-painted details, Nagasaka’s handwritten signature, and incorporated electronic waste (E-Waste), bringing his distinctive artistic vision into a physical format.

When orders first opened in July 2025, the artworks were available exclusively to NFT holders. To provide more people with the opportunity to experience Nagasaka’s art, public sales have now officially begun.

Beginning this summer, Mago Nagasaka will further expand his research activities focused on “Sustainable Capitalism,” a concept he has developed and advocated through his artistic and social initiatives.

In light of this new chapter, there are currently no plans to produce additional Milly and Friends Special E-Waste Artworks for the foreseeable future.

Born in Fukui Prefecture, Japan, in 1984, Mago Nagasaka is a contemporary artist whose work combines artistic expression with environmental and social impact.

In 2017, Nagasaka visited Agbogbloshie, a slum area in Ghana known for its vast accumulation of electronic waste. There, he encountered people who earned their livelihoods by burning discarded electronic devices from developed countries.

This experience became a turning point in his career.

Since then, Nagasaka has created artworks using discarded materials, directing proceeds from their sales toward the construction of recycling facilities in Ghana. His activities have also expanded into environmentally sustainable agriculture and electric vehicle businesses.

Nagasaka advocates a new economic model known as “Sustainable Capitalism,” in which economic growth, cultural development, and environmental and social contributions reinforce one another.

Through this approach, he continues working toward transforming communities affected by electronic waste into sustainable towns.

He also established MAGO MOTORS LTD in Ghana, which employed 102 people as of May 2026.

In 2022, Nagasaka held his first solo museum exhibition at the Ueno Royal Museum in Tokyo and received the 51st Best Dresser Award in the Academic and Cultural category.

At Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, he presented Middle Jellyfish “Umitsuki,” an artwork created using recycled plastic bottles.

Milly and Friends is a collection of 2,000 unique character-based PFP artworks, supervised by contemporary artist Mago Nagasaka and co-produced with Apas Port.

The collection was inspired by Nagasaka’s ongoing efforts to restore the environment in Agbogbloshie, Ghana, one of the world’s largest electronic waste accumulation sites.

It carries the philosophy and visual identity of his signature “E-Waste Art” into the digital world.

At the heart of the collection is Milly, a character symbolizing peace and rebirth through the transformation of discarded materials.

Her 2,000 friends were created over approximately one year, drawing inspiration from carefully selected elements of more than 2,000 artworks previously produced by Nagasaka.

Together, they represent a digital continuation of Nagasaka’s artistic vision and commitment to environmental regeneration.

“ON” CHAIN ART is a curated digital art (NFT) series developed through Harvest Hall, a project operated by Apas Port.

The initiative highlights visionary Japanese creators who view art as more than a form of expression, introducing their philosophies, missions, and creative works to audiences around the world.

Each collection is designed to offer unique digital experiences, including connections to physical artworks, exclusive holder communities, and special events.

Through ownership, collectors gain opportunities to engage with and participate in the creative worlds of the artists.
