■Background and Outlook

This project is the first realization of the strategic partnership announced in December 2024 with Plume Network.

“Plume Tuktuks” is a new support model that provides loans in cryptocurrency to local tuk-tuk drivers to acquire tuk-tuks (three-wheeled taxis). By supporting impoverished people with limited access to financial services, it aims to promote economic independence and improve transportation infrastructure.

Supporters (lenders) can participate starting from 15 pUSD, the US dollar stablecoin on Plume. They also receive benefits such as “ON” Chain Art (NFT) issued as proof of support, as well as “Quest Badges” and “Plume Points” usable within the Plume ecosystem.

Going forward, the project plans to expand loan support beyond Cambodia and tuk-tuks to other regions and vehicle types, further advancing approaches to the real economy utilizing Web3.
